Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
Prophecy Digital S.A. ("Prophecy", "we", "us"), registered in [country] at [registered address], runs Prophecy and is responsible for your personal data. This policy says what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we keep little.
What we collect
- Your account. The sign-in identifier our sign-in provider, Privy, gives us when you sign in. If you sign in with email, your email stays with Privy; we don't keep it in our database.
- Your profile. The handle you choose, your avatar, and any socials you add.
- Your play. Your picks, tickets and entries, results, duels, leagues, referrals and points, and the receipts of each race.
- Your wallets. The address of the Prophecy wallet made for you, any wallet you link, and the game's transactions on the blockchain.
- Your table messages. What you write and react with at a table.
- Your device, kept fair. Your browser makes a random device id. We keep only a one-way hash of it, at most 20 per player, to stop one person bringing themselves as a friend.
- Notifications. If you turn them on, the address your browser gives us for sending them.
- The waitlist. If you joined it: your email, your consent, where you came from, and who referred you.
We don't store IP addresses in our database. Our hosting provider processes them to deliver Prophecy and protect it from abuse. We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics on our sites.
Why we use it
- To run Prophecy: your account, your games, your payouts and your receipts.
- To keep it fair and safe: stopping bots, duplicate accounts and referral abuse, and keeping tables civil.
- To fix and improve Prophecy, using our own records.
- To send what you asked for: waitlist emails and notifications. You can stop either at any time.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Where the law asks for a legal basis, ours are: running the service you signed up for, our legitimate interest in keeping Prophecy fair, safe and working, your consent for waitlist emails and notifications, and our legal obligations.
What other players see
Your handle, avatar, the socials you add, your results, your stakes, your standings and your table messages can be seen by other players. Your email is never shown to other players. Transactions on a blockchain are public by nature: anyone can see them, and they can't be deleted.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who run parts of Prophecy for us: sign-in and wallets (Privy), hosting, blockchain infrastructure, and email for the waitlist. They may use it only to provide their service to us.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
- A buyer or successor, if Prophecy is ever sold or merged, under this policy.
Some providers process data outside your country. Where the law asks for safeguards, we use them.
How long we keep it
- Your account, play records and table messages: while your account exists, and afterwards as long as we need them for legal, accounting and dispute reasons. Game and payout records are written once and kept, so every receipt stays true.
- Waitlist details: until you leave the list.
- Device hashes: while your account exists, at most 20 per player.
- Notification addresses: until you turn notifications off, or they stop working.
- Anything on a blockchain: forever. We can't change or remove it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also object to how we use it, ask us to limit that use, ask for a copy to take elsewhere, and withdraw consent you gave. Some records we must keep, and blockchain data can't be erased; we'll tell you if that applies. Email us to use any of these rights. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, strict access controls and a record of operator actions. No system is perfect, so keep your sign-in safe too.
Age
Prophecy is for adults only (18 or over). If we learn we hold data about someone younger, we delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and we'll tell you in the app about changes that matter.
